1992 besuchte die Ethnohistorikerin Siegrun auf ihrer ersten Recherchereise die Munsee in Ontario, Kanada. Sie veröffentlichte 1992 ihre Magisterarbeit DIE DELAWARE UND DIE HERRNHUTER BRÜDERGEMEINE:
KONFLIKTE EINER MISSIONIERUNG, 1741-1806, und ihre Dissertation „Die Munsee: Migrationsgeschichte und ethnische Identität“ 2003.

2023 begutachtete sie den Film und nahm ihn inhaltlich ab.

2024 verbrachte sie ein letztes Mal einige Tage auf dem Nordamerika-Filmfestival in Stuttgart und genoss die Filme und die Treffen mit Kollegen und Freunden.

In 2023, she reviewed the film and approved its content.

IIn 2024, she spent a few days at the North American Film Festival in Stuttgart for the last time, enjoying the films and meeting up with colleagues and friends.
